01Delete your whole account
You can do this yourself, at any time, and it takes effect immediately.
On the web
- Log in and open Settings.
- Scroll to Delete account and choose Delete my account.
- Confirm. You’ll be signed out and your data is gone.
If you own a team workspace that has other members, TallyReel Post asks you to make someone else its owner first (in Settings → Team), or to remove the members.
In the iOS or Android app
- Open the Settings tab.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Want a copy first? Download a JSON export of your account from Settings before deleting — once it’s deleted, we can’t recover anything.
02What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently erases:
- your profile: name, email, password hash, timezone and brand voice;
- every workspace you own, with all its posts, drafts and scheduled posts (pending ones are cancelled and will not publish), comments and invites;
- all images and videos uploaded to those workspaces, from our database and from storage;
- every channel connected to those workspaces, including encrypted access tokens, app passwords, bot tokens and webhooks;
- your memberships in other workspaces, push notification tokens and all sign-in sessions.
Content in other people’s workspaces stays with them. Posts, media, channels and comments you created in a workspace owned by someone else belong to that team, so they aren’t deleted; they’re shown without your name. Ask the workspace owner if you want them removed.
We also ask each connected network to revoke TallyReel Post’s access where the network offers a way to do that. Copies in encrypted database backups are overwritten within 30 days; server logs expire within 30 days.
Posts you already published stay on the networks. TallyReel Post can’t delete them for you after your account is gone — remove them on each network if you want them gone too.
03Remove just one network
In Settings → Channels, choose the account and Disconnect. TallyReel Post deletes the stored tokens for that account straight away and removes it from any scheduled posts that target it. Your other posts and channels are untouched.
You can also remove TallyReel Post’s access from the network’s side at any time:

If you remove access on the network’s side only, TallyReel Post keeps an unusable token until you disconnect the channel or delete your account — do one of those too, or email us.
04If you used Facebook or Instagram login
TallyReel Post doesn’t use Facebook or Instagram to sign you in to TallyReel Post itself — only to publish to Pages and Instagram accounts you connect. Removing TallyReel Post in your Facebook or Instagram settings stops it from publishing. To also delete the data we hold about that connection, disconnect the channel in TallyReel Post, delete your account as above, or email us and we’ll do it within 30 days.
05Can’t log in?
Email [hello@tallyreel.com — create this mailbox first] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll confirm the request is yours and complete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
